A Vain World - Poem 2

A vain world I live in.

How vain more can a world be?
Oh, I guess that it can be worse day by day.

Will the world be the same tomorrow?
I'm sorry to say no my child.

Why won't it be the same?
Because people are vain, and going insane.

The world still has a chance
A chance to be beautiful, a chance to be saved.

Oh, how vain a world I'll live in, if no one sees it and make a change.

I am a light bulb - Poem 1

Picture from Google

I Am A Light bulb

I am a very bright light bulb
Bringing unicorns and rainbows out of the book
I am a very bright light bulb

I am a bright light bulb

The Unicorns ran across the beautiful rainbow
I am a bright light bulb

I am a light bulb

The unicorns met with the dark knights
I am a light bulb

I, a light bulb

What's left are the dark knights
I, a light bulb

I, was a very bright light bulb

The message behind the poem:
Being able to bring  unicorns and rainbows out of  a book, represent how imaginative and creative the poet was, and the rainbow represent how she thought of  adulthood, full of fun and adventure. But when she met the dark knights, which were the realities of the world, is where the imaginative and creativity of the poet starts to die out.

LOVE MYSELF

Am I too hush? Will they dislike me later on? Will she be angry? Will he get hurt? Will he/she/they...

Sometimes, we just simply think too much and stress ourselves too much, or think too much for others and forget about ourselves.

Loving our self is as important as loving others, or may be even important than loving someone else. There's a chinese saying "Love yourself before you love others, if you don't know how to love yourself, you won't be able to love someone else fully. "

This time, we shall focus on LOVING OURSELVES. A great example of loving ourselves before loving someone else. Imagine a person doesn't love him or herself, and always do things to hurt him or herself. Won't it be a burden to be in a relationship with someone like this? Let me tell you, you might say it won't be a burden, as I love him/her. But don't forget, everyone has their limits. And what you just said is just in the beginning.

Another example, some people will threaten the one they love by hurting themselves. If we think back, will hurting ourselves make any differences? Does it stop your other half to stop the break-up? No! Maybe some might stay, but is it because they love you? No! They stay because they don't want you to get hurt, and they take it as a responsibility instead of love.  Why hurt yourself when you know it can't change anything?

  Ways to love yourself
1. Always know your limits.
2. Know what is good for you.
3. Pamper yourself abit sometimes, especially after hard work.
4. Find a way or someone that you can talk to and pour everything out that stresses or bothers you.
5. Don't let anyone control your emotions.

TIME TO LOVE YOURSELF! 💖😊

Buddhist Hymn Camp- Johor

*This should be posted long long time ago, but things happened in between, but here it is...  Sorry... ><

After two years of music camp, we finally reach our last stop, that's Johor, where we also call all the campers from different campsites to gather together in this last stop. To make things even clearer, let me explain about this whole music camp thingie.

In 2014, a group of people named "The Melody Of Truth And Beauty" feel that there had been a big gap since they release their first album, and teenagers nowadays aren't really interested in Buddhism, and  some who are interested in composing new Buddhist Hymns don't have a platform to do so.

So, they started going to states by states to organize Buddhist Hymns Camp, states that they've went to are Perak, Kedah, Kuantan, Melaka, Sabah, Sarawak, and some other more, and finally here we are, Johor.

Facilitators and committees are to come a day earlier to have the final meeting before it officially starts. As I am a facilitator for this camp, I needed to be there, but what made this stop so unforgettable is, this is the first time, I'm bringing both my guitar and ukulele to camp, but not for me to use, but for the campers. I usually don't let people touch them, unless they are professionals, and I'm a typical music instrument psycho, a slight knock on the instrument already make me freak out... Haha...

Not only that, the main reason why it's so unforgettable, is that a one and a half train journey, turned into 3 hours +...  =.= Why?
It started from the train station near my house, my friend and I were suppose to take it to KL Central, but halfway, the train suddenly stopped, and we were trapped on the train for nearly an hour, then another train from another railway stopped beside us. So despite of holding so many luggage, we had to jump down from the train, and climb onto that packed train. It didn't end like this, later on, we were taken to the next stop, and we were told to cross the footbridge. The whole way was so packed, and it was really a challenge to get your foot onto the stairs of the footbridge. And before we could even put out foot on the stairs, they announced that the trains will not be functioning, due to power failure, and luckily one guy came up to us and ask are we going to KL Central, so we ended up calling for a cab... We had to squeeze through the whole way in the cab, as there were so many luggages...

When we reached KL Central, the trains were functioning there, so, we took the train to Bandar Tasik Selatan (our actual destination), and the train was packed like sardines. When we reached there only did we know there is another way to go... =3=

A trip with Kalyana Mitras- Johor

  Hello!!! I'm back!!!
Due to busy schedules, I have not updated for a very very long time (since April 2015)...
So, this time, I'll tell you guys about the recent events I've just went to, but I need to break them
up into a few updates... Enjoy... :)

First, a trip to Johor with my Kalyana Mitras~ (19th Dec~21st Dec 2015)

  First Day- To Johor

(In the bus, on the way)

As the journey takes hours, some bus games were prepared, and as a punishment, some need to make cute, sexy poses...

(One of the cute poses)

Another activity that will be ongoing throughout the whole trip is the "Angel & Master" game.
Where we will draw ballots to decide who is our masters. Then what need to be done is, the angels need to secretly take care and be concern about their master throughout the whole trip by writing little notes and pass to the "postman" (which is selected earlier), where he/she will pass to the masters later. Masters can also reply to their angel's notes, using the same procedure.

Hi, here I am, writing stuff to my little master... :D
(Don't get cheated by the image of the phone, I'm just using my phone as a hard base for me to write on a piece of paper :P )

After hours on the bus, finally we reach the place where we will spent the nights in. "Pu Zhao Shi".
(The building behind is the one we will be spending the nights in)

As there's a shifu staying there too, and we will be staying there, being polite, we went and greet him.
(The little place where shifu stays)

Before meeting him, I thought he will be a strict person, but it turn out way different, he was a very nice and benevolent old man. I even thought of my grandpa when I saw him, even though I've never met my grandpa. (Sorry, but there're no photos of him.)

Then we went out and eat lunch in a cafe at "Zen Xin Organic Farm" which is nearby the place we're staying.
`
As an apology, I'm gonna show you one ugly photo of mine~ Haha
To neutralist it, so that you won't vomit, next will be a nice pic~ XD

And beside the cafe, there's a shop selling organic food and products... Products there aren't cheap, as they are mostly organic.

(Acting like a model selling the products...Haha... XP )

After eating, we went to a supermarket 30 mins away to buy ingredients for the third day's BBQ dinner. We were differentiate into few groups, and every group was given a specific amount of money to buy different stuff, example, meat, veg, fruits and others. But it wasn't that easy, we need to tie our hands together, while we buy the stuffs...

 (Me: Let me go!!!)

(Boy: Hey, this way!)

After buying everything we need, we went back and had our next activity, dodge-ball~

Then, we took a short nap, and went out for dinner at a hawker. Then we did a crazy thing, that's we went straight to collect our supper, as it was so called the famous burger, and we had to stop outside a closed shop and eat it at the aisle...

(On the way to the burger stall)

(Got it!)

(Eating on the aisle.)

After that, we went back and take a bath to refresh ourselves...
And for the last activity of the day, we were ask to prepare a few of our photos (baby~ recent), and tell everyone about our growing up journey...

(Haha, showing off my baby photo~)

(Photos will be projected on the wall; the audience will be seated on the mattresses and straw mat)

From this activity, we know our Kalyana Mitras so much better... And that's the end of day one...

Second Day- A day in Koref Eco Farm Resort

BEWARE! Lots of photos here... Hiek Hiek...

The next day, we had breakfast at a "Kopitiam" nearby, then we started our journey to the eco farm, which is more than an hour away.

(But not forgetting to write to our masters)

After the long journey, we finally reach our destination...

(The first few views of the place)

We were lead to our little room where we will put our belongings in. As, we don't wanna take them along when we go into the water~
(Teacher briefing in front)

Then when they started to play their own games while waiting for the guide to come, I got bored... So, here are more photos~ TeeHee!!!

(Trying to act like I'm holding a sunflower~)

(I'm a panda, I need bamboos!!! )

(Now, I'm a mushroom)

Then we walked to the waterfall nearby...

(Trying to push teacher under water... XD)

(That's me and my junior water fighting~)

(Trying to convince her, and lending her a hand to come down... XP )

Then to the part of the trip I dislike most---------muddy muddy mud >< Eww!!!
As this place we were going to play was suppose to be a paddy field~ The mud was really really yucky!!! ><

There were many obstacles for us to face...
(Climbing across the net... p/s: That's not me...)

(Crossing the floating bridge)

(A bridge made out of two ropes)

Helping hands can be seen everywhere~
(Boy helping to raise the rope, so that it's easier for the girl to cross)

Many people who were afraid, succeeded in crossing most of the obstacles... except me...

(Crossing this log bridge, already took me ages)

I only manage to cross the log bridge and another obstacle, then, I just simply sat down at a place and watch the others play.

As I was sitting and watching them, sadness came to me...
I thought to myself, Why? Why?! Why doesn't anyone care of my feelings?!
Why can't I do it like the others?! Am I really useless?!

But the feelings became better afterwards, as we are going rafting...

Still sacred of falling into the water, because, on the ground, it's all mud... ><

The next activity is, the guide will take us to the paddy field, and try planting paddy...
On the way, he showed us some things that can be found there~

(The view on the way)

(The guide explaining to us)

(This tree is actually half dead, the trunk can be used to make paper.)

(Our national flower- hibiscus)

There were even a few goats there...

(A goat stretching it's head out for food)

Then we reached the paddy field~

Most of them went down and try planting paddy...

As I didn't like the mud, I stayed on dry land , and again, I got board, so I went and "visit” the goats again...
By the time I came back, they had already finish the second activity in the mud--- Tug of War in the mud...
(A group has already won)

Then, we manage to catch the sunset...

And how can we let go of the chance of taking a beautiful group photo~

Then at night, we had BBQ, and after dinner, the guide took us to a part of the jungle to see something spectacular, it gave me the chills, as I listen to the don't do list in the jungle, example, no calling names, no bad words, no bringing and leaving things in the jungle...
When we finally reach the part of the jungle, we were ask to close our eyes for one and a half min, then when we open our eyes, I could see what was so spectacular, around us, there were millions of Pseudomonas Fluorescens.

After a tiring day, we went back to sleep...
 (Journey back in the night)

Third Day- Back to Klang/Dropping by Melaka

After packing and cleaning up the place we went and say goodbye to shifu and left for branch in a famous curry hawker stall.

After that we started our journey to Melaka to visit another shifu...

Then we went to a restaurant recommend by shifu to have our dinner. At the same time, we had a surprise birthday for two of the birthday girls.

Then we continued our journey back to Klang. And on the way, everyone's angels are announced. And gifts were exchanged between angels and masters.

To conclude this whole trip, here is another group photo... <3

From this trip, we can see that we are not only Kalyana Mitras, we are a FAMILY
OHANA, AND OHANA MEANS NO ONE IS LEFT OUT !!! <3
